Is there a way to reduce the image sizes for embedded youtube videos? The images are huge and stacked vertically. A gallery of smaller images that could be clicked to open the youtube video at a larger size would be more functional.

Hi Jim, https://www.freeconvert.com/video-compressor is a FREE video compressor that does a good job. We've used it many times without any issues. There are many other video compression products but most want you to sign up for a paid package.

You mean the default image shown for a YouTube player? (If you made the page accessible I could tell you how to change it.) That image size is controlled by HTML code that CC uses to override the YouTube embed parameters. (That size is not related to video compression.) You can change that but it takes a bit of special CSS code to do that.

Jim, here is something you may be interested in. It is Free software that allows you to make You Tube Galleries (as well of other type Widgets) of different sizes. It works quite well. https://fouita.com/

The simplest (to address the "size" described") is to make a TABLE and put the YouTube embed code inside of that with minor changes. That addresses his question about "size" directly. There's also another way that takes a bit more CSS. I'll create the other one later. It's on our page but that page is protected. This is a DEMO of using a table and also JVideoplayer Both methods are responsive and adjust to the screen size. JVideoplayer is the most compact and flexible JVideoplayer easy and compact. It all depends on what is desired.
