I just got this email from a member of my multi-yr class: "Hey tom i was trying some sql injection on www.hoxa.org last night,,,n now my IP address is blocked access to the site ..can u help me out" Obviously I m not too happy someone tried to hack in and possibly tamper with our website.. But wish to know, how seriously should i take a threat like this? How well is the website protected from something like an "SQL" injection? How did the member's IP address get blocked..was it done at the domain level..or by security systems employed by class creator? Can this member's IP address be unblocked? Even if we can , should we?
