I don't see an exact answer to this on a forum...if it's there I apologize!
I just received a check from a classmate, paying for 3 of our reunion events. He also included a donation of $20.00. How should I add the line item for the donation. My first thought was to add "donation" to our merchandise list. But I don't want to put in $20.00 because that would make other potential donors think we only want $20.00 I would like it to be a free field where our classmates can add any amount. Do I have to create a number of different lines, each marked "donation" but with various amounts?

In Reunion Planner, EDIT, when you get down to the ticket items you are adding, if you add an item for purchase, call it "Donation", there is also a checkbox you can check called "Donation or Price". The HELP for that item says this:
Donation Or Price: Click this box only if this item is for accepting donations, or if you wish to allow classmates to enter their own amount. Otherwise, please enter in your price.
