Opening a PDF instead of a HTM page from menu/submenu?

Hi CC Support, when creating a new CC menu (or editting) you can only specify a HTM page link. Is there a way for a menu (or submenu) to open a PDF directly instead of navigate to a page which has the link to a PDF file? If we had a list of PDF files to view, putting them on a page makes sense. When we'd like to open a single PDF file from the main menu or submenu, it'd be nice to be able to specify the file by itself. Can we do that, if not, any suggestions on how to accomplish an equivalent process? Allen.

Hi Allen, The navigation system is built to link to internal site page names only and we don't have a way to link directly to an uploaded file. You would need to create a page and upload the file to that page. Jessica
