Okay audio pros, I need your recommendations. I have two recordings with major background noise - air. I would like to edit the noise out, but can not find how to do that with the freebie editor I found on CNET - "free audio editor". I'm looking for another free program that will do the job. Who knows of one? A great big smile and Thank You goes out to the admin who suggests the one that works first!

I purchased this one many years ago, and for the $20 or so it gave me lifetime updates, which have been significant: http://totalrecorder.com/ I use this a lot myself
