I just had ninety six infected files removed and security setting enhanced, plus installation of malwarebytes-anti-malware. My PC got cleansed and given protection. I'm not going to troubleshoot right now, perhaps much later on. I would like to know what that offending javascript was...

When you run the malwarebytes program, it will show you a log of the malware that was removed. We don't know what the "offending javascript" was, only that it was causing the browser to report an error on the home page.
