At one time I had a Domain Name of "Phillips50". No longer have this Domain (ended March of 2016). Does my ClassCreator site "Huntington Beach High School Class of 1959" need a secure certificate?

Thanks

Your site is the default LONG name which is secure, except your page has insecure references that start with http:// instead of https://

Those references need to be changed to get the "lock" to not show the warning. So you do not need a certificate (it's already there), however those references need to be fixed.

Jack,

Are you able to take a look at my site and explain to me what is going on? On Tuesday I purchased 5 years of the secure certificate. It appears to me that some of the pages are locked and others are not. That makes sense to me as some of the pages are designed to draw people in and join, hopefully. But the "Flyer profiles" are not secure and I thought that was at least what I was getting. If you want you can send me a private message.

Hi Denise,

Your certificate will be installed today. There were a few changes our certificate provider had us make this week to streamline the verification process as the process was taking longer than expected and longer than previously tested. Your order is fully verified and the certificate is being issued and installed.

Jack, Thanks for the response to my question. Now, how do I fix the references?

Thanks

Thanks, Jess.

Well, I was a mess wasn't I? I always try to "read up" on this stuff so at least I can explain it to others. It's a little more complicated than 11 years ago, but I'm learning and you all are a great help. I brag about you all the time!

Thanks again.

Denise

Beverly,

Open the page in the CC Editor, select Source mode.

Now search for http://

For example on the home page, these are just an example of those that need to be changed to https://

http://sig.graphicsfactory.com/ (that was inserted when you made those letters)
- every slideshow has this - could be generated by kizoa from your embed code -? That would be bug to report to kizoa.

http://pf.kizoa.com/sflite.swf -- this is obsolete now - Flash

http://hbcams.com/
http://ui.constantcontact.com/images/p1x1.gif
++ whole bunch of ecards ++ like this one
http://ecards.funmunch.com/4th-july-ecard-229.html (if those are flash also obsolete can no longer valid)

If they don't show in the editor, then they are created by references that are generating them. I can't tell since I only see the actual web page as generated.

Jessica,

I purchased the Secure Certificate on 2/23. My credit card was charged on 2/24. When I go onto our website it still says it is "Not Secure". Please advise.

Thank you,

Joan
