We are planning to print a 50th Reunion yearbook and use the website profiles for each classmates page. When I download the classmates photos they are too small for the designer to use. Any where from 100 - 500KB and he would like at least 1 MG Any suggestions?

The photos stored on the website would be too small for what you want. If you originally uploaded the photos and you have the original scans, it would be better to use those. When you upload a photo for a yearbook photo, the system resizes the photo so that we don't store many very large photos just for the yearbook photo.

There is no way to resize a too-small photo to the size you want and have it look good. (well, maybe there is, but I don't know of any way.)
