I would like to deactivate the Post Announcement link or delete it altogether. How can I do this?

Hi Barbara,

Under your announcements on the announcements main dashboard there is an option you can uncheck regarding allowing site members to post announcements.

I turned this off for you.

Note that you, as an administrator, who still has rights to post announcements will see it. Non admin site members will bo longer see that option.

At the bottom of the Announcements page uncheck the box before the option "Allow Classmates to submit Announcements (all Classmate-submitted Announcements are added in an inactive state and must be activated by an Administrator)". While administrators can still post announcements classmates will no longer see the link and be able to do so.
