I have done this many, many times but for some reason something I did this time was wrong. What is wrong with scenario: When I go to Photo Gallery and select 2019 Luncheons nothing happens. What did I miss?

![]() You started in the wrong place. Delete your page that you created in Edit Site Pages, then do the following... Admin Functions > Gallery Creator > Add New Navigation Link (Top Left Button ...this will create your page) > Create New Photo Gallery (Top Right Button ... this will create the gallery for the photos to be added) ... be sure to select the new page under Within Page for the gallery to appear. Now you can go back to Edit Site Pages to move the location of the page in the navigation order.

Earl, if I read your post correctly, the last step you took - create a new Site Page - is not needed. The gallery itself creates the navigation link. Look at your prior galleries and you'll see that they point to (yoursite)/class_gallery.cfm?gallery_link_id=25738 the link_id changes for each one. That's the actual gallery. You do not need another link. What you have now is an empty reference. So delete that and just make the gallery active. That's the one in Gallery Creator -not Edit Site pages. It's a bit confusing because the new system was added later. I'm not sure of the gallery data, but if you post a shot of your Gallery Creator list it will be easier to figure out. Scott can look directly and verify here.

When I hover over the main Photo Gallery link popouts on Firefox it shows the link references on the lower left. Safari is no longer supported for Windows, so I don't know how that works there. I think Firefox also works on IOS now. Use this link to install FIREFOX for IOS Post a screenshot: take a picture of the Gallery Creator page with all the various galleries. Then I can see what you have there. Firefox has a built-in screen shot system. If you right click on a page (not on something that also has a popup) it gives you the option to "Take a Screenshot". You can crop and save it. Pretty cool. I think Chrome might have something similar but it's not as simple. And for Safari I found this: Capture a selected portion of the screen Press Shift-Command-4. Drag to select the area of the screen to capture. To move the entire selection, press and hold Space bar while dragging. After you release your mouse or trackpad button, find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.

Finally decoded (I think) the error. You said "Then I created a new Site Page and moved it under the Photo Gallery Site Page." What Scott meant by "be sure to select the new page under Within Page for the gallery to appear" applies to Gallery Creator page, not edit site pages. You need ONE entry under the main "Gallery Link" there to show the photos.

I came to my senses and see the link to each gallery--it's simply the url of the page. WOW,I'm not sure I am qualified to be an administrator anymore.

![]() I honestly don't know what to say.... "Something must have changed because from 2016 until this month, I created the Site Page for the Navigation Link and it worked as I expected." ... The way I described the process above is exactly how the system has worked in the almost 9 years I have been here... or at least in the last 8 since the Edit Site Pages part of the system was released during the first year that I was here. But I'm glad that now... "Things now work as I expected." Thanks

I just made a "test" gallery and it works like it used to. So probably a step was missed without realizing it. Or a browser cache got involved. That's happened to me few times where I had to refresh the page.
