On May 7 I posted a message on the message forum. My notify me selection is one day - I am not sure what others have chosen but nonetheless, I have yet to receive a notification of the posting.

My understanding is that the person that does the post does not get a notification of their own post. What many do is create a "test" member, for example IMATEST and then they set the notify options for that member. A different email address is used of course.

Hi, I eliminate all that by posting a message in the forum. If all is quiet, I resend the message in an "e-mail the class" letter (at which time I do get my own copy of the notice.
