At one point I had small black triangles indicating which items on the main menu offered fly out menus. Then they disappeared. Are they real or experimental?

I see them and they work on my alumni site. However, they do not appear on TAP, the newspaper design, but the fly-out is there for Sample Pages. Thanks for noticing this, Mike! Thanks for sending it up to the programmer, Scott!
