This is an open request to all website Administrators ...

I would like some help in creating Classmate Profiles questions. I am looking for some creative, funny, weird, odd and/or unusual questions that would make classmates revisit their fellow classmate’s profiles.

Please submit your Classmate Profiles questions. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Under "Spouse/Partner" I tried to add questions like, "Did you marry your high school sweetheart?" and "How did you meet your Spouse/Partner", "What do you consider his most endearing quality" (we're an all girl school) etc. This to encourage them entering a little more info than just name. Couldn't figure out how to add it to the existing box Kept creating new box. I may just type it in with brackets rather than use the question and answer generators.
Also wondering if these questions would be considered too intrusive. What do you think?

I thought I'd come up with some interesting questions but so far no one's bothered to answer any of them. They just type in their name and address, but I'll list them anyway:

1. What I wanted to be when I grew up; what I was; and what I thought of it.

2. My words of wisdom, or what I have learned in my "advancing" years.

3. My nomination for Best High School Teacher and why.
4. My nomination for Worst High School Teacher and why.

5. Memories of Fenger High School.

6. Memories of growing up in Roseland (our community).

Hey Joy Joy . . .

Thank you for your response. I like the question: How did you meet your Spouse/Partner? I do not think this question is to intrusive, but the question about the your spouse's endearing qualities may only attract spouses instead of additional classmates :O)

Hey Carole ... Thanks for responding. I like your questions. I agree it is tough to get classmates involved ... that is why I asked for weird - creative and odd profile questions.

I put up a class questionnaire on our class bulletin board. This is a separate site from our class website but now with the customizable profiles I'm going to put the questionnaire questions in the profiles.

Here are the questions I used...they seemed to create some excitement!

2. Where do you live now?
3. Where else have you lived?
4. If you could build a second house anywhere, where would it be?
5. Still have family around Fosston?
6. How often do you get back to Fosston?
7. Would you ever move back to the Fosston area?
8. Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?
9. What did you do right after high school?
10. What do you do now?
11. How did you get into that?
12. What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?
13. Past jobs?
14. What did you always want to do that you haven’t done yet?
15. High points of your life since high school?
16. Married? To who? When? How long?
17. Kids?
18. Grand kids?
19. What do you like to do in your spare time?
20. Any vices?
21. Travel much?
22. What's the farthest you've been from home?
23. Favorite place to go?
24. Places you want to go?
25. How old do you feel?
26. Any grey hair yet?
27. What would we be surprised to know about you?
28. Did you have any nicknames in school?
29. Any nicknames now?
30. What’s your favorite memory of FHS?
31. Least favorite memory?
32. Biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at FHS?
33. What are your memories of high school (i.e. secret crush, embarrassing moment, funniest thing you did in high school, favorite high school hang out, favorite teachers)?

I graduated at a military school in Okinawa,Japan: so I included a question asking:
-What do you miss most about Okinawa?

Questions that everyone can use are:
-Have your or are you serving in the military? If so, what branch and how many years?
-Were you referred to this site by a classmate? (We are having a Classmate Challenge; classmates get a point for each missing classmate they get to the site and the winner gets a prize!)
-How far will you travel, one way, to attend the reunion? (Person traveling the farthest will get a prize)
-What college(s) have you attended?
-Degrees earned?

Hi,
The question I got most reaction to when I put it on the Profiles is "What music would you like played at your funeral?"

I appreciate it might upset some people so you need to be sure of your audience first. I just felt it was a different way of finding out about Classmate's musical tastes and does prevent the endless lists of songs and artists that some add to their Profiles. My old Classmates have found it a humorous approach and, so far, have responded in the same vein.

Several years ago our class did a 43rd reunion(bet no other class has done that!). We had a great questionnaire. I couldn't believe the interesting and detailed answers, all of which we published in a booklet, the cover of which was the scanned front of our yearbook. I was blown away by the significant achievements listed by several classmates--ones who didn't stand out in any way during their high school days. I was so glad the achievements question had been included.
