We have members who have limited access to the internet and can only come a few times a week. We have a very active forum, and they don't want to be missed out. Is there a way that the forum can be exported to word, pdf or some format that we can grab and email so that they can download it and read it at home, or somwhere and not feel left out? Is there a way also to integrate a chat module that logs the chat and posts it into the forum so that those that were not in the chat session won't be left out?

1) No there is no export utility for the current message forums. New forums are coming up though that will allow people to subscribe via email.

2) Yes, there is a very good third party program for adding a Live Chat Room to your site. Logging and more advanced features like that means you need to buy the paid version though. It's not very expensive . Plus the paid version removes all the advertising. Our recommended chat program is here.

The Chat Room adds onto your web site like any other third party plugin, such as a Photobucket slideshow or Youtube video. Just copy and paste the code they give you. For more information about installing third party plugins read our FAQS section
