I created a new photo gallery. I have 9 photos in the gallery & designated one of them to be the Cover Photo. When you make the gallery "active" an automatic email is sent to all classmates alerting them to the new gallery.
My problem is, one of the photos from that new gallery appears in the email that is sent out AND IT IS NOT the cover photo I chose. Does anyone know if CC just picks a photo from the new gallery at random to include (or appear as the Cover Photo) in the email?

The notification likely went out immediately after you had uploaded the gallery (by coincidence of timing), and the system had chosen a cover photo (probably the first one) which you later changed. That notification now is delayed a few minutes to give admins time to designate a cover photo prior to the email being sent.

Thanks, Eric. The classmate that submitted the photos really did not want the photo that originally went out with the email notification to be the cover photo.
