Is it possible to add an option for someone who posts a message on the message forum to get notified when a new message or answer is entered? It would be similar to this forum. Thanks

No, the Message Forum is a single topic forum. There are no e-mail announcements when a posting is made. No improvements are planned for the Message Forum. (it was supposed to be discontinued when the USER FORUMS were implemented, but was continued because of some complaints). Your USER FORUMS will act the same way as the Help Forums. It will e-mail you telling you when another posting has happened.
