Is this legit? Wants you to verify the domain names you have and follow the link they have provided.

![]() Doesn't sound legit at all to me. Recommend you do not follow any links. If you want to forward me the email in question I'll take a closer look.

I received the same e-mail and erased it. It just looked suspicious to me.

I emailed the copy to Brad and he determined that it actually is a legit email. I did click the link afterwards and just specified the different contact names and when the domain started and when it expires. Nothing major!

Thanks for getting back to me on that. It somewhat restores my faith in mankind that not all spam is malicious. LOL

I've received an email 11/26 (parts of the email pasted below). In re-reading this thread -- it appears safe. I prefer NOT to click on the link (as my data has not changed......but I wonder if the link has to be opened)
Below is a list of domain names with your email address listed as the registrant or administrative contact. The current contact information associated with the domain may be verified by following the link provided. If any of the contact data is inaccurate, it must be corrected. If you need assistance in accessing your account to make these updates, please reply to this email. If the contact data is accurate, no further action is required to comply with this notice.

Once per year the Classnames.net system (and all domain registrars) are required to send out an automated notice to the domain owner that shows them what their current registration contact information looks like so they can update it if they need to. The link takes you to the contact data currently displaying in your domain registration. The email is safe.
