I recently changed to the Responsive Design. I have no idea if that has anything to do with anything, just the only change that has occurred of late.

Since then, logging in on a smart phone stalls due to too many redirects.

Also, our URL is now different. It was www.sahs-reunion.com. Now it redirects to https://www.classcreator.com/Seoul-Korea-Seoul-American-1989

Any assistance, comments, or suggestions are appreciated.

Class Creator has modified ALL Domains so they redirect to the raw CC site name so they now all have a "secure" certificate.

I have no idea why they did not announce this in the forums since it is a Big change. And may make some non https references no longer work correctly.

You original Domain name can still be used, but as you noted, it "redirects" to the longer name.

The only way to keep your domain name and have https is to purchase the certificate.

Some sites received an email that this was going to occur. Check your email to see if you received that message.

It shouldn't cause any issues though. Perhaps if you had older cached data it might? I've had no issues with our site, although I asked for that several months ago. I like it.

Hi Jack

The announcement went to all admins for a site with a domain that had not already selected their own secure certificate or ours - you had already made the selection so it would not have gone out to you. With more browser changes on the way and requests coming from our echeck provider to secure our entire platform (all pages of all sites) we sent out a notice to just those sites that would be affected by the change

Kelly, if you wish to purchase a security certificate through classcreator.com, under Admin Functions, click on Manage Domain, and then on the link under Secure Your Domain Name. If you purchase a certificate, your domain name will then read sahs-reunion.com and you will have no redirects. At least this is my understanding of what will happen.
