Can't delete announcements

I am having trouble deleting some announcements. When I click on the green button, it won't go off, and when I click "delete" nothing happens. When I try to add a new announcement, I can't get the green light to go on. Can you help?

Linda, There was a system-wide problem earlier, but the programmers have fixed the issue. Everything should be working fine again. Kyle Erickson
