Our class of '68 is having a "turning 60" party this summer and we need a "grabber" name to promote the party on our website. Any ideas? Thanks.

How about something along the lines of..."Celebrate Sixty! Sassy, Sexy and Still Smiling!"... "Look Out Seniors Here We Come"..."Life Begins at 60! The Best is Yet to Come"!..."Sixty is the New Forty" But who's counting?" ? "Simply Sixty Says It All"..."Celebrate the Sensational Sixties!"...A Decade to Be "Remembered"!Cool

Let your imagination run with it...you'll find the right phrase for your group! Have Fun !! And congratulations!
Every Birthday is a Gift and a reason to Celebrate, but the "milestones" should be even more "Fun"!

Some that I have seen in years past:

Sixty is The New Twenty!

Over The Hill Gang

The Preparation Generation - as in "H"

The Old Softies - in More Ways Than One

The Polygrip Pals

Aged Like Fine Wine

The Body Says Yes - But The Mind Says "Oh No You Won't"

Laughing Love it! How about:

Nifty Nifty,
Paxton's Sixty!

We are having our 50th Birthday Bash next year and celebrating it with a pig roast/covered dish dinner at a cabin we all used to hang out at. Looking forward to it!

Mary, I was going to use..something along the 3 R's like. the R's have taken on a whole new meaning...from Reading, Writing and "rithmetic..to Relax, Retire, Reflect....

We're having our weekend "60th Birthday Bash" in October and also using the theme "Sixty Going On Sixteen" as the main weekend events will be a picnic and varsity football game back at our old high school! One of the things to keep in mind when giving the event a name is will the name fit into the navigation bar and reunion planner name on ClassCreator, even when abbreviated.

just more "food for thought"...

"Turning Sixty...Old enough for the AARP card, but not Old enough to Retire"!
"The Sixties...Where None of Us Have Gone Before...!" (or none of us can remember)
"Finally, We can trust someone over 60!"
"Sixty and Beyond...Still Crazy After All These Years..."
"Hippie, Happy and Just Glad to be Here!"
(the possibilities seem almost endless!)

p.s.and those of you just turning 50,don't laugh! your AARP card is in the mail!Cool
Have Fun!
and Happiest of Birthdays to all of you!

How about "60 is Sexy"? That's what we're using for our 60th Birthday NEXT year. Everyone loved it. Why not?
