Is there any way to determine when a classmate first registered for the website other than saving the notification e-mails. Can it be found on the website in any way?

Why don't you just go to Classmate Profiles, then click on the NEWEST MEMBERS filter. This will give the date when they signed up for the site.

The date that classmates joined the website is provided on the report you get when you download your class list from CC. Go to Manage Classmates and select Download Class List. The "Joined On" date is in a column on the far right when of the Excel Spreadsheet format.

There were 3 new columns recently added to the class list download: Alternate Email, Joined On (date) and Show On Class List (yes/no). I don't think that was announcement.
