Hello, I saw this image and would like to do the same to my reunion photo: Does anyone happen to know if special software is required to do this, or how it was done? Thanks, Dan

It is done with a javascript. Look at page in SOURCE mode. It's not simple though - a lot of work. One has to figure out the coordinates of every single "head" in the image. There's an extension for Chrome that gives them, but I've never used it. One can also temporarily use a script to figure them out and then enter that into the table. I'd try to contact admin and ask what he used to determine the coordinates. This also kills Responsive Design - if you ever went there. The image can not adjust according to display size, although one could put in the math to fix. This one does not do that.

That's cool, Dan. However, your photo is so large, it is blowing out the right side of the page. That would be a GREAT addition to our sites, especially if it worked in RD!

Dan, are you asking about the spinning gopher, or the fact that when your cursor "mouse overs" the photo, the corresponding yearbook photo for each classmate is displayed as a pop up on the cursor? That really is a neat trick. I'd also like to know how that is done. Thanks for posting!

You can get the script/code right there from the page. Look at it in source mode. Short explanation above. Basic code is relatively simple, getting coordinates is not.
