This may be a mundane question but how (where) do most people list suffixes on names (Jr,/Sr./II/III)? Just as part of last name or does anyone use the "married name"field. The particular group I am working on is an all male fraternity so there would be no other reason to use the married name field. I'm trying to insure that any sorting occurs correctly.

sorting would work correctly if you put it after the last name.

Wouldn't Jones II, Jones Jr and Jones Sr sort at the bottom of the Jones list? That's what Excel does with our surnames. That puts Kevin Jones above Albert Jones Jr.

Well, yes, it does, but all of the JONES names are together.

Prefixes, suffixes and other titles are a real pain unless there are separate fields for them. And entering a comma before the Jr. or Sr. causes havoc with comma-delimited downloads & uploads, same way that using double-quotes does on nicknames. I don't envy your CC programmers for all the curves we throw at you!
