When I get a notice that a classmate has joined the web site, I usually look at their profile, then send a private message thanking them for joining, and encouraging them to participate.

I have been away for the last few weeks and sent a few new members the welcome message, but not everyone. Now that I'm back I wanted to send messages to the others. So I tried to find who I had sent messages to, and can't find a repository of private messages.

Are private messages kept where I can see them? If yes, where.

Click on MESSAGE CENTER (or if from Canada, 'MESSAGE CENTRE') and then you will see two radio buttons, one called INBOX the other called OUTBOX. Click the circle in front of "OUTBOX" to see the messages you have sent.

How about the messages that come to the site through the "contact me" link? I can't find them...

Contact Me messages are not stored anywhere in the system. They are only sent by email.
