On our "This Just In Page..." my classmate wrote his story and somehow now has "gold" as a background for it. I tried highlighting the story, then chose "white" but it's still gold. Any ideas how to change that? This also happened on our Home Page not too long ago. Once a background color ended up with the text, there was no way to get rid of it except by deleting the text.

I can't tell you how the color got there, I can only tell you that it's there. Sometimes these issues are easier resolved by just clicking your "Source" button and seeing what's causing it. In this case I see this:

I.E. a backgroun color of 255,204,0 is being set (that goldish color).

Simply change:

to just

instead. That'll remove the color.
