Sorry ... sitting here listening to the new Sugarland CD -- love it ... and my mind is just workin' OT. Anywho ... how about a calendar showing birthdays, anniversaries, important dates that everyone may need to be reminded of (like election day!) etc. I hope this question has not already been asked (and addressed!). Thanks for your consideration!

For now anyway, that's what your Announcements section is for. We can easily put up a graphical calendar, but you'd have to actually click a link to get to it...where announcements are much more front and center. And within a graphical calendar you can only fit the briefest of descriptions, which then have to be clicked yet again to see the full event details. Our thoughts when creating the original Class Creator structure was that Announcements were more usable and more findable for Classmates when listing events, etc. And they're all right there, no second or third clicks required. Some other separate modules like Birthdays are coming though. Who wants a calendar? We can certainly make the module and allow those who want it to turn it on. Would it get used? Or are people just going to put important upcoming events into Announcements? Please weigh in.

I did the same thing! I took a Google calendar and used it as one of my pages (can't wait until we get the unlimited pages). From there I enter birthdays, event dates, etc. Now the only missing piece is the ability to download classmates' information from their profile including their birthday. Do I need to send cookies for that, Brad?

Several new items are scheduled to be added to the Excel export. I'm not sure when Mike will hit that item on the Task List, but brownies and cookies do seem to move things up on the list.

Brad, Is there any way or are you planning already to add an albums tab? I know we can add pix now. But how many? I have like 50 so far on our page with more coming in. It is a hodge podge mess. All of the pix are all different sizes. Was wondering if there was something coming later? Thank you, Karen =)

We are working on some very cool photo gallery layouts now, and when the designs are done this will go into the programming queue for later implementation. So, yes is the answer to your question. Unfortunately at this time I have to consider photo galleries lower on the priority list than numerous things that are under discussion in this forum, so it's going to be a # of months most likely until these reach the top of the list. Sometime this year I'm sure, it's just hard to say when. But they're coming, anyway.

That is great! Brad another question? It might be in here somewhere but I can't find it. Can you work on a site and not have it go live until ready? Thank you, Karen =)

Sure you can. Click on Edit Site Pages, put a checkmark in the password column next to your home page, and don't tell anybody what your system password is. There ya go.
