Occuptions Option and other question

When did this option show up for the homepage? I found if by accident today. I have another site I created html and using another hosting site. I have been making my own pages but thought it would be easier just to alter the CC template for my needs. Can I use the CC Template as my homepage and linked to other site that I have on my public html? I wanted to make sure before I my domain name to the CC page.

The Occupation module is still in BETA mode. There are a few bugs/tweaks that still need to happen before it will be announced. It has been in the product for less than a week
