My 50th Reunion is set up in Event Planner. I would like to print name tags for everyone in the class and guests to the reunion.
The only choices I have are related to registrants of the 4 events that we have set up.
We create separate poster boards at the reunion to show who is deceased, can't be found or can't attend.
Therefore we need a name tag (yearbook photo for everyone in the class.
How do I set this up to print for all the class as only the events seem to be choices?

There are options to print Entire Class and In Memory Only

It is just above the images of the name tags

It is under the heading: Select Nametags to Include

Registrants (sorted by name)
Registrants (sorted by date of registration)
Include those not on your class list
Entire Class
Entire Class with Guests
Only In Memory

Jessica,
Thanks for getting back with me.
I understand what you are saying and have tried it but the only folks that show up on the pdf printout are the ones that registered for our "Meet and Greet" event. In spite of me choosing entire class in the "above the name tag section.
We have 211 classmates and only 27 are showing in the pdf.
It seems that the event choices are overriding the choices later on to choose the entire class.
I am happy to send you screen share images if you want.
What I think we need is a blank field in the events area that will allow the choices above the name tags area to operate properly.

Choose the Entire Class button and if you don't want the words "Meet and Greet" on the tags choose Hide for Event Name.

When you generate the PDF it includes 211 classmates on 27 pages.

Nametags issue info.pdf

Jessica,
Sorry for my continued confusion. I have scanned and attached copies of the screens that we are discussing.
The first page shows my choices for the nametags,
The second page shows the class inclusion info with the 211 classmates and please note the format is not what I chose as my preferred layout.
The third page shows the actual pdf file with 21 names only. I did not print all 4 pages and these folks are only the ones that have chosen to go to the Meet and Greet.
For some reason the pdf file is not getting that I want to print nametags for the whole class with guests, which is what I chose as you can see.
The fourth page is a sample of the name tags we printed for our 45th reunion, 5 years ago, with no problems.
I am happy to talk on the phone with you about this so that we can both have our screens showing the situation.
Thanks for you help. Cathie Flanigan 541-640-9801

Just to clarify what you want.

You need In Memory tags as well as all attending and their guests.

There is a separate In Memory option for the Tags. I recommend using that one for the In Memory section and then choosing Registrants and making sure you are on the Main Event when you select it as it will pull the registrants for that specific event selected.

Jessica,
To clarify: I want to print name tags for all 211 classmates (no matter if they are registrants or not) plus any guests who may be coming to the reunion.
The event name is overriding the print all feature. It seems to be a bug in the program. There needs to be a way to print all the tags no matter the event.

All nametags will be used whether or not the classmate is attending. As I mentioned we have poster boards for Can't Finds, Can't Attend, and In Memory. We account for everyone in our class at the reunion.
Also the "Email me all responses to this thread, "Print Name Tags..." does not work even as I have clicked "Yes".
I have to log on to CC to find out if I have a response from you each time. Perhaps this could be fixed also.
Thank you for your help.

Could someone please point me to the instructions for printing name tags? I uploaded pictures in their profile, is that the correct place to upload senior picture?

Jessica,
I'm curious about the status of resolving the all name tag print issue as discussed above. Is someone working on it? And what is the ETA for the fix?
Thank you,

I really need this name tag problem fixed to be able to print nametags for all class members not just ones attending our reunion event. It has been a month since my original request. Our 50th reunion is coming up soon. We have been a member of Class Creator for over 30 years. This fix is important! I have sent samples and possible fix suggestions. What is the ETA on it?
Thank you for your prompt consideration.

I just tried the name tag generator based on our upcoming 50th and all class was returned in a PDF.

Did a second one including guests and that one worked also.

We have 144 attending so far and a class of 440+, and all printed.

On your PDF, you have "Meet & Greet" as the event - is that the main event that people registered for? I'd choose the main event and re-run for all classmates. Also on your PDF is the Avery Nametag 74461 doesn't appear to be checked (a green circle with a checkmark)

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my issue. I am now able to trigger the entire class to print with some jumping around.
No guests printed but I will try a separate run for them as you suggested.
The name tags are not printing 8 to a page from the pdf. They start out OK for the first few pages and them jump to 4 on a page and then 6 on a page and back to 4, but never back the requested 8 to a page. Not sure why.
At least I can now get all of the class printed out, if I loose some Avery sheets along the way, no worries.
FYI: I am currently on a bike ride trip in Washington so I can't really experiment much until I get home in a week.
I really appreciate your input and I was really stuck.

The only variable that makes sense that could make it jump back & forth from 4 to 6 to 8 is the classmate photo size - try exporting a nametag PDF with "Classmate photo" set at "-None" - if you get 8/page consistently that way, I would imagine the photo size is the culprit.

I have tried to change the typeface size on the name tag for all the items except the name, but it may be that there are too many words with the married name added in. I have to play with it.
At our age, folks want the name to be a large size so they don't have to use their glasses to remind themselves who someone is.

One more thing I will be doing for our nametags is using the classmate photo, name in Black Arial and the field 'Year/Class' (changing it to "1972 50th") in a pale purple small script. We all know the school name and why we're there - I'd rather (at OUR age) have the picture and the (prominent) classmate name - Seeing their name and pic is all that the nametag should accomplish. My opinion, but with a drink in my hand and hundreds of nametags to read in varying light, with the minimal real estate that a nametag provides, I want to see the pic & the name and nothing else. With as much text as you have on yours from last year, the volume of text could be causing some wrap issues, thereby causing the 4/6/8/6/4 per page problem. Good luck! Happy 50th!

Sorry for the delay - this wasn't dropping into our support tracker.

If sounds like you would be better off downloading the data at the bottom of the Name Tags page and mail merging the data into Word where you would have total control over the fonts, layout etc.

You can download all of the yearbook photos under Manage Classmates > Download Photos > Yearbook photos near the bottom of Manage Classmates.

This video shows mail merge for address labels, however, it is the same concept for their name tag labels
