You answered my question about the way images get into the File Vault but did not answer the question about what happens when you delete a file in the File Vault. Does that eliminate it from all pages that you may have used that image in?

In Internet Explorer, the photo will show up as a SMALL RED X image if you delete it from the File Vault and it was still being accessed. In FireFox, the image will just not display - there will be nothing displayed.

The HTML CODES that are trying to access the image are still there until you delete them yourself.
