I thought I remembered seeing a discussion on how or if we could add faculty members to our site so they could register online as well.
Do I just add them as another classmate? I'm not sure I want to do this b/c of some comments some classmates have made about some teachers. (not awful, just references to past experiences and I don't want to alienate classmates.)

Anyone gone to trouble of inviting faculty/teachers... and if so, have you used this site as a tool for their registration also?

I'd just add them as a Guest Member. See this thread.

We have one faculty member, so far, listed as a guest member and also a spouse who was in the class before ours.

I have added the teachers as Guests, along with people from the class before/after ours who want to be included. The teachers love it because many of the classmates are communicating with them through their profiles.
