Hi
I have noticed that when I go to edit something and I highlight a specific line or text, the highlight goes crazy and highlights the entire page and then I have to start over. It does the same thing every time.

Please look into this and let me know.

Thank you much,
Tracey

Tracy - what is the operating system you are using?

Hi Tracey,

I would try using another Browser. Google seems to work best for me. Your issue sounds like a Browser issue...

I have similar issues with underlining of some things. I've actually delved into the CSS language to "fix" some of MY issues. I use Google Chrome exclusively.

Hi Karen,

In the responsive design we have the HTML editor in some places that works quite well with things like underlining..

I tried Google Chrome and found that I can edit with that browser. Thanks for the tip! In Safari I couldn't edit any announcements without the highlighting going all the way to the bottom. However, editing pages always has worked in Safari. I learned a work-around at the Apple Store, so that is how I have edited for weeks.
So glad to have a better solution!Very Happy

Hi Scott,
I have a Mac - OSX Yosemite, Version 10.10.5

I have never had a problem highlighting and editing until about a month ago. Have not changed anything on my end.

Thanks,
Tracey

Hi Again,

I generally use Safari and just tried the same editing process with Firefox and it works fine.
????????? Not sure why after 3 years of having our website this would change, but I guess we have to adapt to the "times".

Maybe Scott has the answer.

Thanks to all who commented on this problem Very Happy

I have recently (in the last year) heard more and more issues that are only surfacing in Safari. Firefox and Chrome work much better and are much more consistent.

Thank you Scott. I will try Firefox in the future when I have problems.

Have a great daySmile)
