I'd like to copy and paste 3 flyers about upcoming events, but not finding a way to do this, I followed your instructions about posting a PDF or document. I scanned each flyer in successfully, but I would like to have the flyer itself appear instead of just the link. How can I display these flyers on the site? Irma

You cannot have the actual flyer appear in your website, but you can take a snapshot/image of the flyer and then post that image and when classmates click on the image, they can then open up the associated PDF file. To take a snapshot of the PDF, you can open up the PDF file, then click CTRL-PRTSCN (or ALT-PRTSCN) and then crop the image so it only shows what you want (use a paint or image editor program), then save the image. To create a link to the PDF, you would insert the image in the home page content where you want it, select the image, then click the LINK button (3rd from right on 2nd row of icons) and then BROWSE and find the associated PDF file. Save the link, save the contents of the page. Test the link to make sure it works.

There is a longer process you can use in MS Windows to convert the .pdf file into a .jpg file. You bring up the .pdf file on your screen. Press the “print screen” key. Next go to Start – All Programs – Accessories – Paint. After paint opens up go to edit and click “Paste” and your screen image pops up. Now do a “Save As” and save the image as a jpeg file. Next go to the folder where you saved the .jpeg file and open it up in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. You can now crop the photo and do any number of adjustments to the photo. Do a final save and you have a picture you can paste on your web site. I hope this helps.

If you have a multifunction printer, you might be able to scan the flyer and save it as a JPG file instead of the PDF format. Then you can do what Kyle suggested. George

If you have Windows 7 (almost any flavor) you can use the Windows Snipping Tool, which I use all the time to capture screen images.
