Can anyone provide me with the web color # for the light grey used in the Member Forum area? I placed a jpeg that had a pure white background (which I thought the Member Forum was) and it stands out against the light grey.

Thanks!

Mike

There is an app that comes with Mac OS called DigitalColorMeter which you can use to identify the codes for any color displayed on your screen. It is probably in your Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder.

I use ColorPix to identify screen colors. It's a free download - Google "ColorPix". Works great.

I get these values for the light gray:

RGB: 244,244,244
HEX: #F4F4F4
CMYK: 0,0,0,4

Thanks for the suggestions Eric & GarRobMil. It worked like a charm. I've never used the DigitalColorMeter before. Who knew? Many Thanks!
