How do I change some of the default page content. For example change or add bands to the bands list or historic events in the listing of historic events from the graduation year.

You are probably referring to the "YYYY History/Videos" link. This link is imported from a third party, ThePeopleHistory.com and is not under ClassCreator control. If you have any suggestions, we can forward them on to the owners of the content, but that is as far as we can go. Given that information, did you have some suggestions?
