When someone enters our web address it takes them to a login page. Is there anyway to let the public see our home page only, without registering?

This is our 50th reunion and some of the classmates still don't trust sites that make you login.

We want them to see the calendar of events and then if they want to join they can logon.

How should/can I handle this?

Absolutely, you can go to Edit Site Pages > Edit Link for any page and click the Restrict to Classmates Only for any pages you do not want unlogged in people to reach. I suggest that you do not restrict the Homepage, Contact Us page, First Time Visitors page, and Either the Classmate Profile OR the Missing Classmates page. If Both of the last two are restricted, new members will not be able to join.
