In the past I have added a phot of the American flag to to in memroy page of a deceased veteran. Today it does not seem to work....

I go to edit the veteran...click on the image button.

The back ground goes cloudy and I get a square that says IMAGE BUTTON and it just sits there. Nothing happens. I thought my computer was just going slowly so I let it sit for about 5 min...nothing and the only way I can do anything is Ctl/Alt/Del

If you are using Internet Explorer, try turning off the INSTANT MESSAGING window (bottom-right corner, click the X). Then try again. Sometimes Internet Explorer has problems with the Instant Messaging module.

Try pressing the browser menu VIEW/RELOAD or VIEW/REFRESH see if that helps.

If you have FireFox installed, try that - it doesn't have the same problem.

Hi Jim,

Have you tried it again today? When I view the image option the screen comes up on all browsers I'm testing. Let me know if you are still having an issue.

I believe it is still not working....

Just to be sure.....I am going to edit pages...then in memory...the the veterns name and click edit. That brings up HIS in memory notice. Then I go to the second little box from the left at the top of the announcement. Click that and I get and plain whit box that says IMAGE BUTTON. From there I should be able to browse my pics for the flag I want to insert...correct?

I think what you are talking about is the flags next to some of your classmates on the In Memory page, right? For example, a small US Flag next to DAVID SKILLINGSTAD, am I right?

If this is right, it isn't done with the IMAGE BUTTON. Instead, it is done by Edit Site Pages, Edit In Memory, EDIT of the classmate, then completing this section:

Military Service:        
Country served:        
This is the country of service (not the location of where served). Leave blank if this person did not serve in the military.
Branch:        
Enter branch served. Leave blank if this person did not serve in the military.

For example, in Country Served, choose USA and for Branch Served, put "ARMY"

Nope...on his individual announcement page.
