Our "This Day in History" is not showing

Our "This Day in History" is not showing today. The settings have not been changed (set to active and to display on Home Page content area) but nothing shows?? Is that because nothing happened on this day?? Any Hints??

There was a problem with the content provider, so that module has been disabled. ClassCreator is working on a replacement module that will have similar content but that we will have more control over the content.
