Hi Mark, It will look like this in the source view: line1 line2 Change it to look like this: line1 The ) tag which surrounds the paragraph with a space.

If you are just typing in like a paragraph of text, you don't want to hit the enter key at all. Let the system do the word wrapping for you. HOWEVER, if you are trying to get something where you're putting a couple words per line and you don't want double spacing... use either SHIFT-ENTER or CONTROL-ENTER... I can't remember which but one of them will force a single line break instead of a full paragraph break.

It's shift Enter. Shift enter advances down 1 line. A regular enter advances down 2 lines.

Thanks to both of you for your help on that. I was trying to enter a poem so the lines are short and in blocks of four. I've done it before and not had a problem so it puzzled me. I'll do as you suggested. Cheers,
