I've been using Paint Shop Pro previously but all of my free trials have ended. And even though I should just break down and buy one of the editions I don't wanna...not yet anyway. Don't wanna pay $50 that keeps getting upgraded each year.
So does anyone know of any good graphic programs that are free?
I've tried doing photoshop but their downloads seem to take over 2 hours.

Brad has recommended www.irfanview.com before and I have used it. It is pretty basic, but it works.

Try this article. I can't recommend any of the programs because I haven't tried them, but CNET is usually on target.

Try Picasa from www.picasa.com. Owned by Google, free, easy to use, and way cool.

I have irfanview already...I use it to crop or rotate pics...can't really do that much with it. That's why I love my psp...I used to really get into it by making tags but got bored and stopped. I just downloaded GIMP so we'll see how that works out.
