Hi,

I received the following email which appears to come from info@classcreator.

This is your annual notice that all registered domain names must have accurate and up-to-date contact information.

Please review the domain information below and verify its accuracy. If all information is up-to-date then no changes are necessary. Inaccurate or outdated information must be corrected by logging into your account.

While we do respect your privacy, we are required by ICANN, our regulating authority, to send these notices annually to all domain contacts. To learn more about this process and why it is required, please visit ICANN’s website: http://www.icann.org/whois/wdrp-registrant-faq.htm

Please remember that under the terms of your registration agreement, providing false or inaccurate Whois (contact) information can be grounds for the cancellation of your domain name registration.

**NOTE At the bottom of this message has my class URL name and then it has a link on the right that says to verify contact data.

Clicking to verify data goes to an error message of 404, page not found.

Just want to know if this is all legit and/or how to I answer this?

Hi Meg,

Yes this is a legit one time per year email that goes out to all domain owners from the central domain registry to ensure your contact information is correct.

Some of those notices went out this year with the wrong domain at the front of it. It should be enomcentral.com instead of classnames.net (we have reported this to Enom and ICANN, who send the notices.

You can either right click the address in the link and copy and paste it and replace classnames.net with enomcentral.com and it will work or if you prefer forward the entire email to info@classcreator.com and I will respond back with the correct link.
