i put the classmates names into the list, but when they go to ridge89.com they get a message that they can't log on and have sent me a message. i have not gotten the messages and want the class to just click on their name and be able to directly log on and edit their profile at tat time. how do i do this. sorry, it is so basic!

I'm afraid I'm not sure what "can't log on" message you're referring to. I checked your site and you have it set up perfectly. Make sure your Classmates aren't trying to log in using your home page gray login box before they've even established an account. You need to tell your Classmates that the login procedure is:

1) Go to your home page
2) Click on your Classmate Profiles page
3) Click on their own name
4) Join the site using the big JOIN link at the top of their own Profile page
