Turn off the Facebook connection comment

I've just recently noticed that the right hand side of the homepage has a comment to try Facebook connection. I'd like to have that turned off for all of the sites in which I'm the Root Admin. Those sites include: www.efhs1973.com I thought I would be able to turn it off thru a homepage edit function - but if there was an option, I overlooked it. Hoping it can be turned off for my 3 sites.

Simply go to the Preferences page and near the top you will find the ability to turn off the Facebook Class Connection.
