Hi Brad,
I have two problems. I wrote you about the first one a few days ago when the announcements on my homepage mysteriously disappeared. I hadn't been on the site all day, hadn't worked on the announcements, I signed in and my home page announcements are gone. I have since sort of rewritten them and asked other site admins to use the "email the class" function only and not try to post announcements.

I thought the problem was solved. Then I tried to edit both the Home Page and the Class of 1969 page today and both pages are in source code when I got to the editing page. There is no source button to click at the top of either page to make the formatting tool bar active again - it's not even there! Help!

Lastly, I thought since you said the missing announcements were a human error on our side, I would remove admin status from all classmates but myself until we get this mystery solved. But when I tried to do that, I got the message "you cannot delete a password, enter a password". I don't know their passwords and I am signed in on my own account. How can I remove admin access and how can I protect the pages from being changed accidentally?

Thank you,
Retha

You are editing your page using the Safari browser or the Google Chrome browser. Please use Firefox or Internet Explorer to edit your page. We'll be supporting Safari and Chrome as soon as we update our editor, which is coming shortly.

You cannot delete a Classmate's password, or else they'll never be able to log in again. You can only change a password. Although you don't want to do that either. You want to do this:

1) Click Manage Classmates
2) Click the Enter/Edit Classmates button
3) Click the Details link next to the Classmate's name
4) Remove Admin access near the bottom of the page

Okay, thank you. That all makes sense.
