Keeping pages active when classmate is deceased

I have a classmate who is the widower of another classmate. Now that the deceased is In Memory, her pages are gone and/or inaccessible. Her widower would like to keep her pages active. Is this possible? If not, can it be made possible?

If you edit the classmate's In Memory record and check the checkbox "Append link to bottom of In Memory entry back to Classmate's last Profile. ", then after viewing the In Memory page, there will be a link to see the classmate's profile pages. Look for the "Link To Profile:" checkbox.

I just add the widower as a guest and let them create their own profile so they can access the site.
