when I (as admin) change a password for a user, are they prompted to change it when they first use it to login? We have a registered user, Janis Epperson, who hasn't been on the site for 2 years, says she tried to change her password & can't get in. My thought is to change her password in her "Details" which will then send an email to her primary email address and I'll followup with a private email with the new password. As I'm preparing my email, the thought occurs to me that I don't know what happens from the user perspective when their password is changed and the new password is provided to them. As an afterthought - as a user, is there a way for me to change my password? Thanks, in advance and as always, for your support.

They are not prompted, however, you can tell them to go to their Member Functions > Change Password and they can change the password there. All site members including admins have the Member Functions > Change Password link. Jessica

Jessica, thank you and "duh" on me about a user changing her/his password. Sometimes I'm embarrassed to admit I'm an admin
