I received the notice about keeping domain name information updated etc. (Never heard of whois or ICANN.) I do need to make a correction on a name spelling. First, want to make sure this is legit ( though, it did come from CC). Secondly, I have no idea who to contact for a correction. Just checking...thanks, Bonita

Yes it is an automated notice that goes out to all domain holders from all domain registration companies once per year to verify your contact information has not change.

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers)
is the central non-profit organization that oversees all domain registration companies.

You would return to ClassNames.net to update your domain contact information if there are any changes. I'll have the ClassNames.net system issue you out an email with your login information in case you don't have that handy.
