Email notifications to classmates [of new announcements] do not seem to be going out.

I realize a queue has to reach a certain size before the system/software sends our emails.
Can you elaborate on how large this is, and, if there is a maximum time period that elapses before the emails are sent out if that queue is not reached?

New announcements are going to be part of the notifications that are are either sent immediately or once daily... When sent once daily, they are processed with all of the e-mail the following morning starting at 5:00 a.m. and delivered within a few hours.

I presume the same criteria applies to, when I make an Announcement, and select to notify all classmates as well,
as opposed to:
simply ME generating an email to be sent to the class?

Today, I made an announcement at 4:58 AM Central time, which would be you 5:58 AM, so it did not make the once daily queue, correct?
