I wrote announcement with start and end dates. The announcement does NOT show as active even though start date is in past.
Urgent request to announce funeral.

Under Edit Site Pages > Home Page, have you checked the Active box next to Announcements? (see attached file). We don't use announcements on our site, so we don't have the box checked, but you'll need to check it for your announcement to be seen.

The app will not accept check the box that activates the Announcement.

Thanks. It worked when is tried using tablet rather than my smartphone. I appreciate advice that encouraged me to try another alternative to check the active box.
