20230728_142238.jpg Our announcements spill over and only display under all the right sidebar images. I want the announcements to be directly under the homepage with the right sidebar images. HOw do I get rid of this big gap between the homepage and the announcements underneath? How do I change the width of announcements to display directly underneath the homepage? See image provided.

One of your links is too long. Many browsers do not break it up. If you make actual home page visible, easy to tell you which one. Image version does not give enough info. Probably the one with "event .."

Hi Cathy, The home page is loading fine for me on multiple browser types. Looks like you may have already corrected for this. Jessica

I'll ask... If the window in the editor isn't the right width, how do you know what width to do it in Word to bring it over? I can't ever get it to fit right w/o spending a lot of time trying to fix it. The 1974 Reunion Announcement is driving me batty. Thanks

Hi Catherine, I like your solution of creating a new page. The home page has too many variables in order for trying to fit a formatted form onto it. The right hand modules take part of the width of the page. I had made it fit for you yesterday, however, I realize it likely didn't look the way you wanted so this solution gives you all the control that you need and looks great on the new page. It will also be easier for anyone who wants to print it to print it if it is on one page. Jessica

Announcements.jpg Under Admin Functions > Edit Site Pages, click on Edit Page for the Home Page. Within the Content Area, click on the green arrow next to Announcements to move Announcements to the top of the page. See attached file from my site for example.

I moved my announcements to the top with the arrows but you still can't see them until you get past all the side modules. Is there anyway I can move side modules to the bottom of the home page ?

Right Modules.jpg It looks like you've solved your problem. All your announcements are at the top, with your active right side modules on the right side. The only right side modules you can move to the bottom of the home page, or Content Area, are Birthdays and Class Creator Banner, as seen in the attached file. You can move these two to the Content area by clicking on "Move to Content Area." In your case, you do not have Birthdays active and have already moved the Class Creator Banner to the Content Area.

Screenshot_20240716-105919.png No ma'am I haven't you still have to scroll down past the side modules and most aren't scrolling down that far to see them, o don't know that I would either. I attached a screen shot so you can see what I mean

Are some of your announcements only visible if one is logged in? What browser are you using and what OS? (I am assuming you are using current versions.) On Windows 11 all the browsers looked OK. So it's something related to one of the above.

Airport High School 1.jpg Glenda, Here's what I see on my desktop PC when I look at your home page using the Google Chrome browser and Windows 11. Everything looks normal. However, when I look at your home page on my Android smart phone using the Google Chrome browser. I see what you see, with the announcements pushed all the way to the bottom below the right modules. I do not have the expertise to say anything more on this matter. I hope someone else may be able to help you more.

Hi Glenda, I'm seeing what Scott sees where the page loads fine in multiple browser types and devices. I've checked it logged in and not logged in. Jack asked some good questions about what operating system you are using. It would help to know what browser you are using as well. Do you happen to have your text set to large or extra large on your browser? I tried zooming to higher sizes on mine and even that kept it all displays fine so we'll need more information to determine why it is displaying that way for you. Jessica

Airport High School Class of 1964 home page.jpeg Jack, This is what my Google Pixel 8 phone is showing for versions: My phone is showing all updates are current. I've attached a screenshot of Andrea's home page from my Pixel 8 phone which clearly shows the Announcements start below the bottom right module. I have no further technical knowledge of this issue.

strange my Chrome just updated to your Chrome version since I tested (I normally do not use it on my phone). Still looks ok. So it's some display setting issue?

Jack, In just rechecking Glenda's site on my smart phone and desktop PC, I get the same results as in Responses #12 and #16 above. The Announcements display perfectly normally on my desktop PC using Windows 11 with the Google Chrome and Edge browsers, i.e. the Announcements start at the top of the home page and run down it, with the right modules next to the Announcements. On my smartphone, the Announcements are displayed only after reaching the bottom of all the right modules. So, something is causing Announcements not to be properly displayed on a smartphone only. I have a feeling that Glenda's screenshot in her Response #10 is from a smartphone.
