error message 2.JPG
I have been trying all day to upload some pictures to a new page. They were originally crooked on the site and I'm trying to straighten them using PhotoPlus so that I can add them to a new page. I keep getting two error messages. I tried loading a personal photo to my own page and it worked fine. I am sure this is a simple fix that I just can't see.

I can't save the changes I made to the photos and upload. I'm sure it's something simple that I am just not seeing.

I have grade school photos that were scanned in crooked. I want to straighten them and move them to individual pages I have created, but not activated, for the schools. Once I can figure out how to do it, I should be okay. Thanks, Eric.

Your best bet is to roate and crop the image files on your own computer and then upload them to the website only after they look like you want them.

Tamson- When you bring a new photo into Serif it will be on one layer and fill up the window. Increase the window size by dragging a corner of the window. Then use the Deform Tool that has a curved arrow cursor, and slowly rotate the entire image in any direction. In the View menu you can turn on a grid (these are transparent and do not print.) to use as alignment guides. You can change the grid spacing in File/Preferences/Layout to any x and y spacing, in inches or in pixels. You can then crop the image. To get it to an exact image dimension you can turn on View/Snap-To-Grid and your cursor will snap to the nearest grid intersection. If you rotate the image a lot, you can increase the Canvas Size (not the image size) from the Image menu until it is larger than the rotated image corners. Then crop to a new size. Remember to save this file in Serif first and then use the Export Optimizer to save it as a .jpg image to upload to your website.

I have several pictures of past reunions on my iPad. When trying to upload them, the system informed me I have to upgrade the flash, etc... because there is no flash program currently suitable for those devices. So could I do something else that won't require flash to upload the pics? (I thought something was being kicked around to add an alternative product. Sure hope it won't be put on a "wish list" but instead treated as an essential latest development and innovation to enhance mobile user experiences. I'm not trying to be a pain in the keister but to expand and explore the capabilities of being part of Class Creator.)

There's still several things in the system that use Flash: 1) Live Chat 2) Instant Messaging 3) Image Uploader 4) Image Editor 5) MP3 Playlists One of the goals of the recent upgrade of course was to eliminate Flash from the templates and make the new functionality html5 and iPad compatible. Now we have a heavy development focus on our upcoming Facebook app (which will use no Flash). One by one we'll be writing alternatives for the app to replace the Flash items above. As those features get finalized for the app we'll also be replacing them on the core system. The first iteration of the Facebook app probably won't include Live Chat, IM, or the Image Editor. Just the Image Uploader and MP3 Playlist Maker. Thus those are the first 2 of the remaining Flash elements that will be replaced in core system.

Thanks for clarifying. Appreciate it but was hoping it is not just a Facebook related Facebook upgrade.
